We are toasting to 30 years of CORE Germany
On this special occasion, partners, suppliers and employees of CORE in Germany came together in November to celebrate joint successes and long-standing cooperation. The event was an excellent opportunity to look back over the past three decades and into the future of CORE.
We look back to a successful past
Thirty years ago, an outstanding entrepreneur had an outstanding vision. Eberhardt Paul wanted to improve indoor air quality and save energy at the same time. In addition to his job as a chemical engineer, he worked on the then completely new technology of ventilation with heat recovery.
In 1994 he founded Paul Wärmerückgewinnung GmbH in Zwickau with a team of 5 people. Shortly thereafter, they developed the first counterflow heat exchanger, received a patent and won numerous awards.
The company continued to expand and ventilation units with heat recovery were also manufactured and sold worldwide.
In 2018 the merger of three leading heat exchanger manufacturers, created the global CORE brand.
Since then, CORE has been manufacturing the most innovative enthalpy and heat exchangers used as part of ventilation systems all over the world.
Celebration at CORE in Reinsdorf
This year CORE Germany can look back on 30 years full of innovations. We celebrated this milestone on November 11th at our factory in Germany with our wonderful and long-standing partners, suppliers and employees. In addition to a glass of sparkling wine, the guests enjoyed a journey through the past and future of CORE. A special honor was the visit and speech of Dr. Hans-Peter Zehnder.
After a welcome from Marko Jakob (Head of Operations Europe), two colleagues who have been with the company for more than 25 years also spoke at the event. Frank Sabaczuk reviewed the past 30 years and highlighted the most important milestones. Christian Hirsch’s presentation was a glimpse into the future and a look at the latest product and technology innovations.
The guests were also given a tour of the factory to see how CORE enthalpy and heat exchangers are manufactured.
