Paul Maier, Andreas Hans Berger, responsible persons and Managing Directors.
You can contact our data protection representative at the postal address listed above or by sending an email to datenschutz@core.life.

2. Anonymous data collection
When accessing our website, your browser automatically transfers data to our web server for technical reasons. This data refers to information such as date and time of access, URL of the referrer website, files accessed, browser type and version and your IP address. It is stored separately from other data that you enter whilst using our website. The data is not allocated to a specific person. It is logged to ensure system security and deleted after 14 days.

3. Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data is only collected and processed in exceedance of the scope described in Section 2 if you provide it to us on our website. You can do this as described below:

You have to register on our website when using our CORE calculator. You can see the data to be collected on the registration form. Mandatory information is marked with “*”.
Once registered, you receive a confirmation email in which you can click a link to complete the registration process. Your information is then checked and your account activated and you can use it once you receive confirmation from us.
When using the CORE calculator, you are transferred to another server. During this process, your encrypted data is transferred and checked to ensure that it is valid.
You can now perform product calculations and contact our customer service.
When selecting and/or calculating one of our products, information about this process is transferred to us for the following purpose:

• Preparation of internally used statistical evaluations
• For our field service to contact you, if necessary

We may initiate the transfer to one or several order processors, such as service providers, subsidiaries or dealers, who also use the personal data exclusively for internal purposes that relate to us.

4. Legal basis for processing your data
The legality (legal basis) for the processing of your data results from your consent (in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) and/or to fulfil the contract or pre-contractual measures (in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR). In the event of CORE Energy Recovery Solutions GmbH having justified interests, the data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

5. Data storage period
Your data is stored by us for as long as your consent remains valid and/or until its purpose has been fulfilled. Following this, the data will be deleted if there are no other legal obligations for storing the data any further.

6. Data transfer
Your personal data is transferred via the internet using SSL encryption.

If required, your data may be transferred to third parties, such as our affiliated companies or service providers engaged by us (e.g. web host), for the sole purpose of processing your query. These third parties also exclusively process the personal data for internal use related to us.

Any further disclosure of your personal data to third parties will only be made with your consent, unless we have a legal obligation to do so or to protect the rights, property and security of CORE Energy Recovery Solutions GmbH.

Insofar as external service providers come into contact with personal data, we demand that they take all necessary legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

7. Processing for automated decision-making processes and/or profiling
Your data will not be used by us for automated decision-making or profiling.
